The Best Internet Browser:Firefox 3 Beta 4

An amazing new version of Firefox 3 Beta 4, is the twelth developer milestone focused on testing the core functionality provided by awesome features and changes to the platform scheduled by Firefox 3. You would love the way it launches itself, installs with the most user loved specifics, checks for new versions of the plugins installed and suggests the URLs from the cached URLs.

I am using it after downloading it for free from Mozilla. Yet, in beta phase, but works amazingly smooth without any glitches. Be there to look at it. Download is, as usual, Free.

What’s the Google Capital of the World?

Nanaimo, is the Most Possible Answer. Reason???

Here’s an excerpt from Slashdot:

Time.com has up a story on Nanaimo, a British Columbia coal mining town of about 78,000 that has had everything conceivable mapped into a Google database. Citizens can track fire trucks real time. The results also include Google Earth data for Nanaimo. ‘The Google fire service allows people to avoid accident sites by tuning electronic devices to automatic updates from the city’s RSS news feed, says fire captain Dean Ford. Eventually, Nanaimo plans to equip its grass-cutting machines with GPS devices, so residents piqued by the apparent shabbiness of a particular park or grass verge can use Google to find out when last it was groomed by the city’s gardening staff. And the city’s cemeteries will soon be mapped to allow Internet users to find out who is buried in each plot, says Kristensen. A new multi-million-dollar conference center, opening in June, will have 72 wireless access points to allow out-of-towners to use their laptops to navigate the Google Earth version of the city.’”

Amazing, isn’t it?

Sony PSP Cradle: A LateEntry Beauty

Atlast, Sony has thought of placing its PSP on a flat panel, resting on its back. We have PSP Cradle which would enable the users to enjoy watching their favorite movies while outputting to the TV and as well as charging the PSP at the same time. Cradle is accompanied by an IR Remote which is meant to take advantage of the 1seg utilities by Sony.

Laptop that stops a Missile

From DataLoss, obviously.

No, its not loaded with Anti-Missile System, but, rest assured. As Dell claims that its most rugged laptop Dell Latitute XFR D630 is here to take the ultimate test of every laptop owner’s horrific nightmare, like, dropping the laptop, beverage drinking laptop and more.

The D630 is claimed to have met the standards for operation in extreme conditions like extreme temperature, sealed keyboard, sustain moisture and altitude with a solid Magnesium Chassis, SSD and shock protection for its valuable data, which have been laid
out by the Department of Defense MIL-STD 810F.

The specs are pretty awesome too: Core 2 DUo, 14.1-inch, 500nit screen, 802.11n, GPS and high-end thermal management for the processor and RAM. Wouldn’t be much for Vista but runs absolutely smooth on Windows XP.

“The Latitude XFR D630 represents a tectonic shift towards simplicity in the ruggedized laptop space,” said Brett McAnally, director, Dell Product Group. “We are taking a multi-dimensional approach that focuses on simplified deployment, service and durability without sacrificing performance. Major competitors focus their efforts on ‘rugged’ only.”

The Latitude XFR D630 leads major rugged laptop vendors in standard service with Next Business Day On-Site3 service for major components inside the laptop. Competitors require customers to return systems for service. Dell’s rugged laptop also allows users to service many components in the field.
