PSP - An Antique Piece, Is it?
Ever since there had been a notion that Bronze and Gold Gadgets wouldnt do that well when it comes to the Sales Department. So releasing a limited-edition Matte Bronze PSP from Sony is surely gonna make some heads turn. The Sony had been shouting that only 60,000 pieces would be brought out in Japan for sale. And that would cost each about $230 (You do the Match, he he he , 23,800 Yen) and say what, the bundle includes a TV-out cable for the very first time. But, its advisable to get a TV-out Cable from external sources and get a PSP rather than stuffing the Matte Bronze PSP which would look like You are playing on Granma’s PSP. But, if you love it, do go and get yourself one. We would love to hear from you with some pics too.
Intel’s New Chip: ATOM
Sunday hadn’t been an off like all of us for the Intel people. Intel rolled out its Atom brand on SUnday. Atom is a group of low-power processors formerly known under the code names Silverthorne and Diamondville.
Mobile Internet Devices would have a new face when these chips are launched later in 2008. So, Intel, not only on your desktop and in your laptop, but also in your pockets. Fair Share??
The Specifics are:
- The Intel Atom line keeps the Intel Core 2 Duo instruction set, but aims for low power and a new architecture;
- The chip is less than 25 mm², Intel’s smallest yet.
- The chips have a thermal design power spec of 0.6 to 2.5 watts and can hit 1.8 GHz.
- Intel is hoping these little chips will appear in “netbooks,” cheap Internet devices and “nettops.” Nettops sound suspiciously like thinner thin clients.
USB Stick is now a “Windows Companion”
Microsoft is hecticly working on creating a new technology to convert the USB based Flash Drives into a “windows Companion”.Users can carry their Windows and Windows Live Settings with them using this revolutionary technology by the name “StartKey”.
Only USB Sticks are not confined to the StartKey, it will also work on other flash storage device like SD Memory Cards. The availabitly(mostly a beta) is likely to be before the end of the year. The aim behind this: Miscrosoft is hoping to build a Full Featured StartKey environment, consisting of everything from system software on the flash drives, a SDK to enable the thir-party developers to build products that can support StartKey.
The roots for this plan is actually a Mutual Agreement between SanDisk and Microsoft in May 2007. Another proposition from Microsoft is that it would be providing unspecified software to replace the U3 Smart technology that was included on SanDisk flash devices. U3’s technology enabled users to store files, applications and related settings on their USB Sticks.
Avyaya-Me
Avyaya means Indestructable.
Avyaya is Agnostic.
Avyaya is an atheist.
Avyaya is Me.
Ever heard, ” Calling Atheism a religion is like calling bald a hair color”.
But, contradicting that this is what I am, “I always like a dog so long as he isn’t spelled backward.”
Have a pleasant stay on Avyaya.
